		Sunset in the Woods


	I seem to gravitate toward nature photography, which reflects my country upbringing. The first 3 groups were taken during the Christmas season in 2006 and 2007 in Mississippi where I have taken my most interesting nature photographs.

	I like the contrast between nature and this big old rusty tower jutting out from among the trees. As I moved in for better shots I noticed someone watching me. Actually there were as many as 6 buzzards on the tower, staring down at me. The Woodland Tower Collecton

	The photographs on the ends are of the same pond taken at different angles. The pond in the middle is across a driveway from the other one. The Country Waters Collection

	The Lake Michigan Collection above was taken behind the South Shore Cultural Center in Chicago in the Fall of 2007.

	I discovered this interesting specimen during the Christmas season, 2007, on my Parent’s land in Mississippi.

	These two images from my “Winter’s Night” collection were taken from my front door in February of 2008. I was intrigued at how the amber glow from the street light reflected off the snow and silhouetted the Bradford pear tree in my front yard. I use a digital camera but the images were not digitally enhanced. The night was so foggy that the trees were barely visible on the photograph without a flash.


	My Tree Fascination Collection is growing. I chose these to start with on my web site because they impressed me the most.
