This one I call my “They Went Through The Fire For Me” collection, if I may borrow words from my favorite singer, John Legend. These images were taken during a leaf burning at my parent’s home in Mississippi Christmas 2007. Yes, I know. I tried to convince my father that they should keep the leaves as mulch and that they were polluting the air but to no avail. I did manage to get some interesting shots, though, with the cooperation of my nephews. These images are not digitally enhanced.
